Our external hard drives are formatted for both Windows and Mac computers and are designed to work with most modern systems.
External hard drives can be used for:

  • Event and performance preparation

Our music collections can typically be imported into popular DJ software, including:

  • Serato DJ

  • Rekordbox

  • VirtualDJ

  • Engine DJ

  • Traktor Pro

  • Mixxx

For the best performance, we recommend importing your music into your preferred DJ software and allowing the software to analyze the tracks before use.
Setup
Getting started with your external hard drive is easy:
Step 1: Connect Your Hard Drive
Connect the hard drive to your computer using the included USB cable.
Step 2: Open the Drive
On Windows, open File Explorer and locate the drive under "This PC."
On Mac, open Finder and locate the drive in the left-hand menu.
Step 3: Browse Your Music Collection
Open the drive and browse the folders included with your purchase. Collections are organized to make finding and managing music easier.
Step 4: Import Into Your DJ Software
Import the music into your preferred DJ software and allow the software to analyze the tracks.
Step 5: Create a Backup
We strongly recommend creating a backup copy of your collection as soon as possible. Backups help protect your investment in the event of accidental deletion, computer issues, or hardware failure.
Troubleshooting
My computer does not recognize the hard drive.
Try the following:

  • Disconnect and reconnect the drive.

  • Try a different USB port.

  • Restart your computer.

  • Test the drive on another computer.

  • Verify that the USB cable is securely connected.

The hard drive is showing but I cannot access my files.
Allow the drive a few moments to load, especially if it contains a large music collection. If the issue continues, restart your computer and reconnect the drive.
The hard drive is running slowly.
Large collections may take additional time to load. Closing unnecessary applications and connecting directly to your computer instead of a USB hub may improve performance.
I accidentally deleted files from my collection.
Customers are encouraged to create backup copies immediately after receiving their order. If files are accidentally deleted, contact support with your order information for assistance.
The drive disconnects unexpectedly.
Check that the USB cable is fully connected and not damaged. If possible, test the drive with a different USB cable or computer.
